Year 2009

Test 2009

The test in 2009 was associated with the annual population census survey of 2009. This test was a first assessment of the responses to the questionnaire. In particular

  • The quality of filling the questionnaire (compliance to filters, non-response, misread questions)
  • consistency between individuals found in the census household composition table and those described in the Family Survey
  • consistency between statements given in the census individual forms (BI) and the Family Survey questionnaire.

The feasability of matching the Family Survey questionnaires with census forms and the estimation of the non-response rate were also objectives of this test,. It also allowed to trace possible problems in the logistics of the data collection.
The selection of small and large municipalities for the test was conducted by the Regional INSEE offices of Aquitaine, Picardy and Pays de la Loire on a voluntary basis for those municipalities.
In each region, four enumerators were in charge , of collecting Family Survey questionnaires in their census area.
